but May saw the launch of MicroGen Scotland
which is backed by leading environmental and social charities and promotes the development of small-scale renewable energy systems.
March 2007: We have been very
busy over the last 6 months - the lack of news updates has been
due to too much happening rather than not enough. Most of the work
has been in updating and adding functionality to existing sites,
but two new sites that have launched are Friends
of the Earth Tayside and Baroness Scott.
August 2006: We have been very
busy over the last few months, mainly on site maintenance and adding
functionality to sites. One new site just launched is for Stop
Climate Chaos Scotland - a sister site to the UK site it uses
the same design but through an online system allows the client
to make direct, immediate updates to Scottish news, events and
jobs without having to go via the UK organisation and their London-based
web designers - saving them time and money.
April 2006: We have developed
the first phase of a new fundraising
website for Friends of the Earth Scotland which includes an
automated registration and password control system; and have also
produced a revamped website for Nuclear
Free Local Authorities.
February 2006: saw the launch
of a revamped website for the Eco Trust for their 2006 Eco
Prize, which included a new logo designed by us.
December 2005: A revamp of the E-Track
project has given the website a more professional image.
See the before and after.
October/November 2005: The WaterSense
website (see May news) has been expanded to provide people
with information on a range of chemicals used in the home, to
encourage them to use products which are less harmful and less
environmentally damaging.
September 2005: electricityinfo.org was
launched to provide consumers with environmental information about
the UK electricity supply industry.
July/August 2005: No new sites
over the summer, but an "email your MP" feature for Friends
of the Earth Scotland and an online petition for the Campaign
for Real Ale were amongst the online campaign features developed.
June 2005: A Textlynx website,
for MP John Barrett, has been shortlisted for a New Statesman New
Media Award.
May 2005: The WaterSense
website was developed for WWF, HSBC, the Scottish Executive,
SEPA and Scottish Water.

Election, the everyone environmental
campaign added the facility for people to email their candidates
in the 59 Scottish constituencies.

information on why nuclear
power is not the answer to climate change launched. And there
was a site revamp for TRANSform Scotland.
February 2005: The everyone campaign
launched a new phase this month focusing on climate change. We
develped a website for Footprint
Scotland, an environmental project run by WWF Scotland, Aberdeen
City Council, Aberdeenshire Council and North Lanarkshire Partnership.
January 2005: Two major site
revamps, for consultants Environmentally
Sustainable Systems Ltd, and Scottish
Environment LINK.

a system for online
campaigning for the Campaign for Real Ale enabling their members
and supporters to contact their MP in support of Camra campaigns.

Edinburgh Moving, campaigning for a "yes" vote
on congestion charging and improved public transport, launched.

LINK's everyone campaign was a finalist in the
Institute of Public Relations 2004 PRide awards. We are pleased
to be the web developers for the campaign.

the ForthRight
Alliance of environment and transport groups campaigning against
a new Forth road bridge launched.
